My Fashion Sense

Ok, you have to admit, a dog has to have their own fashion, especially a girl dog like me. So, I thought I'd show you mine! These are my accessories. I have 6 collars, three leashes, and one bandanna. And yes, I do need them all. Ok, the pink collar with the green spots is my Valentines Day collar, though I do like to wear it around other boy dogs to impress them (like Boomer, for example). The red collar with the white stripes was the first collar I ever got. I wear it with my red leash, although I never use that leash so I don't use the collar that much, but anyhow. The silver collar with the holly branches on it is my winter holiday collar. I ONLY wear it in the winter. It's new. The blue collar serves the same purpose as the red one, which is no purpose at all except to act as a boring collar. Now, the black one with the red and yellow splashes is my main collar. Somehow, I always end up wearing it. It is pretty cool, though. The metal collar (my least favorite) is only used when I get a bath and don't stand still. We had it because, believe it or not, I used to pull on the leash as a pup. I know, unbelievable. Especially from a German Shepherd mix dog. Anyhow, I just had to show you guys my equipment. I have more, just not all there. So...um.... I hope you guys are all having a good summer!

That was is an interesting post today! I wasn't really aware of it that you have so many different collars, but you are right, a girl needs variety! Maybe you will get a new one for your birthday....
Any special wishes?
Maybe a classic leather collar?

Isn't my pink collar leather?...oops, I mean, yes, a leather collar would be great! Hehe....I was thinking along the lines of a nice, colorful summer collar. I don't have one of those, yet!

Sherman has very boring ones. I like your black one with red and yellow on it. Where did you get such a fancy collar?

Four out of the six collars I have (including the black and red and yellow one) are from someplace called Old Navy. Practically every time my mom is there she sees nice ones, and sometimes she buys me one for my birthday or Christmas. They are nice, but not too expensive, and they last!

oh man! Miss Tumbleweed would be jealous to know you have more collars than her.

Great post :-)

P.S. I found your link on Gudl forest. You have a lovely horse :-)

Abby,
You go girl.
Of course you need accessories!
Every girl does.
Now being a big girl, and I don't mean fat, it might be a little harder to find the dresses and shirts. Tell your mom to learn how to knit for the upcoming fall fashion season.

That's true, Baron, I should get a new collar. One that's leather with silver studs and rhinstones....hmmm, that's a good idea!

May I copy your idea of putting on my collar on my blog?

Sure, Boomie! You can post collars and leashes, too. I think it's cool to see all the differant ones. Tell A that I get all my collars at Old Navy, she should look there. I'll bet there's one just your style, Boomer!

You know, I've had the red one since I was a pup....they work really well!
