Good-bye, My Little Friend!

This is Happy. No, he is not happy, I mean, he is, but he IS!.....ok, let me try again.
This is a dog, and his name is Happy. He is an old friend of mine. He is a Maltese-dog-what-ch-ma-call-it. I don't know. Correct me. I THINK he is a Maltese. Anyway, his owner is my human's groomer. Mommy says"I'm visiting Happy!", and i know that she will be gone and come back with short fur. Anyway, when Happy's mommy went on vacation, we got him! For 10, full days! He is so cool. Seriously! He has a sweater! Like my friend Daisy Mae, the dog. I must say, Daisy ALWAYS has the most awesome clothes! Well, Happy just has a little black sweater, because his mommy has his fur clipped and he gets cold in the winter. Poor little guy! But that short fur will come in handy now! See, I have him posted to say good-bye. I will no longer be able to see my little friend. He is moving to some warm, tropical island-thing, where it is totally warm, ALL the time. I must say, I would miss having that white stuff on the ground sometimes, but he won't! He always got lost in it. Man, that stinks. Good thing the sweater was black! I just wanted to say a friendly good-bye, and good luck to my friend. Have a safe trip, Happy!
Well, that's all there is to post today. I will post again, soon!

Beach Days

Sorry, I haven't posted in awhile everyone! I hope you all are having a great summer. I am! These pictures show you where I was this past week. At our other house! See, for some odd reason the humans decided that two houses are better then one, and so this is our summer house. We go there every summer and hang out. Of course, I'm always hanging out year round, but the humans don't.( don't ask me why, with all the green paper they have I would definitely hang out all the time. It's not like they have to work! Sheesh, they have a lot of stuff to learn.) Anyway, it's really nice there. They have this awesome big water-place-thingy. I don't know what it's called. I think of it as a big water bowl. Anyway, they go swimming in it and stuff. I don't go in. I'm afraid the doggy who owns the bowl will come, and judging by the size of the bowl, I think the doggy must be pretty mean and scary. So, I play it safe and just stay out. Now, you are probably wondering what the difference between the first two pictures is, but believe it or not, there is a difference. In the first picture my nose is different then the second one. If you enlarge it, one at a time, it looks like I am moving my nose while I sniff the air, which is precisely what I am doing. And by the way I have my eyes closed in the second pic. you know that I am just loving the smell of the air there. Even if the water bowl is scary, at least it smells nice. In the third picture I am staring down the bars of the outside place thing (it has a fence there, so it blocked my view of down below. Stupid, huh?!?! To put a fence there! It's not like there's a 100 foot drop or something! .......oh, right, there is.) to inspect the boats moving below. People actually go boating on the water bowl. Humans are so oblivious to the danger of doing that. Ugh! Anyway, in the last picture is a squirrel. There are lots of them there, probably because doggies always have to be on leashes and they can't catch them that way. Those animals are just way too smart. Anyhow, I know this was a long post, but there was a lot to say. Hope you all have a great week! Happy summer!

Neighbor Dog 2- Cruiser

This dog lives down the road from us at the mini horse place. I have never seen him live, I admit, but my mommy took the picture to show me, and told me a little about him. He is a funny looking dog (if I do say so myself), and not the brightest, apparently. He chases sticks very well, and as you can see, he loves them. He is a pug mix (or so I have heard, so if someone can correct me, be my guest!!). I have never heard of a pug dog, but that is what he is. He looks hilarious!!! He has a funny brown face, and a white body, an-oops, you guys have eyes, my bad, you can see what he looks like! So anyhow that's him, and oh, his name is Cruiser. Apparently that is a type of car or something. Funny name, I must admit. All around a funny dog. So, there he is, Cruiser!!!!!
Have a good weekend, everyone!!

My Fashion Sense

Ok, you have to admit, a dog has to have their own fashion, especially a girl dog like me. So, I thought I'd show you mine! These are my accessories. I have 6 collars, three leashes, and one bandanna. And yes, I do need them all. Ok, the pink collar with the green spots is my Valentines Day collar, though I do like to wear it around other boy dogs to impress them (like Boomer, for example). The red collar with the white stripes was the first collar I ever got. I wear it with my red leash, although I never use that leash so I don't use the collar that much, but anyhow. The silver collar with the holly branches on it is my winter holiday collar. I ONLY wear it in the winter. It's new. The blue collar serves the same purpose as the red one, which is no purpose at all except to act as a boring collar. Now, the black one with the red and yellow splashes is my main collar. Somehow, I always end up wearing it. It is pretty cool, though. The metal collar (my least favorite) is only used when I get a bath and don't stand still. We had it because, believe it or not, I used to pull on the leash as a pup. I know, unbelievable. Especially from a German Shepherd mix dog. Anyhow, I just had to show you guys my equipment. I have more, just not all there. So...um.... I hope you guys are all having a good summer!

My Bone Trail

Ok, first things first. I apologize for not posting in so long. I was very busy, and my typer-human-sister was also busy. She "didn't have enough time". Booo! Anyhow, I know I have written about bones before, but I got these new pictures and I figured I have to write something about them, so here goes: My Personal Bone Stations. Great idea, isn't it?!?!?! Well, I made it happen. You see, throughout the winter I saw dead deer. I just ate away at the skin and hair (it's still not off my tongue) and presto, what is underneath?!?! BONES! I have my own, personally run, personally owned BONE TRAIL. I have bones all over our trail. I guess to humans it must look kind-of creepy. Walking along and finding a leg or an arm....oops, deer don't have arms. Lets just leave it at legs. Anyway, my sister saw one, and she had a murder story going in her head, until she realized the culprit was me (isn't that cool?!?! I'm a dog, culprit, garbage lover, and good-looking, all at the same time!! That is what I call multitasking. Or maybe multi-being. What I mean is, I am very skilled.) I have bones everywhere. I can stop for a snack whenever I want! And, of course, it's free, although if you want to come you might have to trade me stuff. Pig ears, dog bones, the usual (don't worry, Boomer, I don't mean you!). So anyway, come whenever! (my pig ear stock is getting low) Have a great day, everyone! And look out for the next post, on fashion of a German Shepherd, Airedale Terrier Mixed Dog ( I am very good at inventing cool titles...can you tell?) Tootles!

Rolling

I love rolling. Humans think it looks funny, but it really is a very serious act. Even the horse does it, and we know the horse thinks she is so cool, so if she does it, it MUST be cool. I roll when I feel good. It itches my back. It is also a good idea to do when you roll it stuff that smells good. Well, the stuff I roll in normally doesn't smell so good to the humans, to the point where they have to give me a bath, but oh well. I do it anyway. Anyhow, I roll in clean grass, too. These pictures are of the three stages of The Roll. Step one: lie down on your side. Step two: using a swinging motion roll onto your back. Step three: the finish, lay down on the opposite side that you started on. See? It's a very complicated process. VERY complicated. I wish more humans took it seriously, but I suppose you have to pity humans, with their puny sized brains. Anyhow, I have to go. Happy rolling!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

I just wanted to wish my favorite Mommy a very Happy Birthday today! I love you very much mom. (I must say, though, it's a tie between her and Boomer )

I wonder how the 'Birthday' came about. Hmm, does it have anything to do with the day we are born being the day we are born? "Birth" day? I don't know. Anyhow, whoever made it up was pretty smart. I look forward to my Birthday every year! No that much happens. I get extra treats, but that's about it. Oh well, I still find it to be important. That is the day I remember my puppy years.....oops, my memory doesn't go that long. My bad. Well, I remember as far back as I can. Yesterday, or so......Anyhow, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday! Have a good day!

Garbage Pile-Mmm, Mmm, Good!

OMG!!! Garbage is SO good! I only just found it. I don't know what it's really called, but it looks like a pile of garbage to me, so....The humans threw all this yummy food here! Just for me! They love me so much! It's like a gold mine of good food! It has the whole works: Banana peels, egg shells, apple cores, ashes from the campfire, used hamster shavings, corn husks, and stuff I don't even recognize!! I think there may even have been some horse doo-doo along the way, which is always good. I can't believe the humans didn't eat all that stuff!?!?!?! I mean, it's so good! I now go out every day and have myself a feast, which is making a permanent dirt clump on my chin, but I figure you have to suffer for the good stuff. I just love it SOOOOO much!! It's just so awesome. And the best part is, they add new stuff everyday!! I get more EVERYDAY! We don't need chickens!! We have the stuff all right here..... unless the chickens are the main course, and this is the side. That's even better. We could throw a party! I have the refreshments!! I'll have my dad cut some of the trees around it (and maybe some chicken heads, too! (-: ), so we can dig in! It'll be great. I'll start planning. Hmm, this month, next month? I'll think about it. In the meantime, have a good day!
